Congratulations to Myriam Faltin from Geneva (second from the right in the picture) for winning a gold medal at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics – only the second ever for Switzerland. The European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics was founded in 2021 by Swiss students to encourage young women in computer science. Her success is a strong signal for the future of computer science and diversity. Well done Myriam!
