Three tough(er) months coming up for SDRs. As we head into the summer quarter of June-August, getting hold of prospects and securing time on their calendar is that little bit harder than usual. Three tips to help keep you on track for quota 1) Ramp your activity You might struggle getting in touch with prospects so adding extra touches and extra prospects will increase your chances. 2) Monitor OOO You'll probably get more out of office replies to emails. Track the dates they return and schedule calls for that day. You'll often find mobile numbers hidden there too ;) 3) Minimise no-shows Best outcome is to schedule the meeting for the next 48 hours. If you have to book outside that window that fine, just make sure you nurture with a couple of relevant touches. Send an ebook or video etc, comment on some of their LinkedIn content. Bonus tip AEs sending a personalised video to the prospect 24 hours before is a great way to increase engagement and help boost show rates. Three months can feel like a long time but with some preparation you can set yourself up for success.

Chris - here’s what I’m telling all my SDRs about the summer… Most SDRs will believe it will be tougher to get hold of prospects, so they will not likely ramp it up creating a self-fulfilling prophecy = poor results. Prospects only take 2 weeks off out of the 12 weeks of summer and because of this combined with SDRs not ramping it up, there will be a lot more converstions for people like you! 😀
