Thanks to the Council of Australasian University Librarians team for inviting me back and with such a warm re-welcome. CAUL is the peak leadership organisation for university libraries in Oceania and makes a significant contribution to higher education strategy, policy and outcomes with a purpose to transform how people experience knowledge and how it can be discovered, used and shared. They are a mighty team doing great work and are very passionate about what they do - which is a lot. Being a virtual team creates its own unique challenges. Real life connection and time together are crucial. We had a productive day. We all brought something special to the table. I brought the coaching and process and the team brought the content and their willingness to dive in and make the most of their time together. And together we created a day that allowed them to enhance their relationships, have conversations that matter and focus on the areas they identified for change and improvement. They're ready to experiment with the new ideas and ways of working that emerged from the day and put those things into action. I'm excited for them.
