Do transport professionals drive safely?? Besides the great presentations from our speakers, we also collect data as drivers complete our Track Side Research Day safety experiments. This year, we looked at braking, swerving, a slow point, a roundabout, lane changing, and simulated intersection queueing. So, how did our attendees go? 📈 77% of drivers overestimated their g-forces 📊 71.3% of drivers adhered to the 80km/h speed limit 📉 The highest g-force recorded was over 1g - more than double the safe threshold!
