It's so rewarding and it's so gratifying to be able to be part of a team in Interventional Radiology. Our job is to give eyes to the physician to be able to see inside the patient's body. Whether it's being inside of the brain, whether it's being the spine, whether it's just being the body in itself. Wherever there's an issue, we're making sure that the physician's able to see that area of interest. I started off in healthcare as a janitor, and somebody took me under their wing, and they seen something in me. And I didn't have fire at the time, but they gave me a reason to think bigger than I can ever think. And now I'm surrounded by some of the greatest physicians, some of the greatest techs, some of the greatest nurses. To be able to give someone maybe another day or another month or another year of their life, it creates such an impact, not just in the patient's lives, but in their friends and their family members lives. And that's why I love this job so much.
