Thursday Thought Coaching with Metrics If you are looking for tips of how to coach around Metrics discovery - some tips for you: 1) Rule of 3 What is the Metric today? What would the customer like it to be? What is the industry benchmark? This provides an indication of pain and also the size of the challenge ahead. 2) Go Broad or Go Home We have to validate Metrics. The wider the org chart the better to discovery and validation of Metrics. Get those Org Charts ready. 3) Who is the customer's customer? Are we just dealing with IT or dealing with the actual customer? Perhaps someone closer to the revenue or cost base can provide some insights. This coaching tip is really to explore how far and wide we are exploring and discovering pain metrics in an opportunity. #SalesLeadership #Coaching #Sales #MEDDIC
