I am delighted to announce that I am supporting Carbon13 and its community as a Domain Expert. I have been eager to be involved for some time, so it is great I can now get stuck in. Carbon13 is the Venture Builder for the Climate Emergency. I've seen first-hand some of the incredible people and companies they have brought together and nurtured. From food waste energy generation and automated waste sorting to natural insulation, recycled building materials and on to energy rating platforms and heat loss surveying and retrofit planning. They bring together ambitious and highly capable people with technology, science and business backgrounds, giving them the best start to build successful climate tech startups aimed at a reduction of 10 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (or equivalent greenhouse gases) per year, at scale. This is all with the support of the Domain Experts and other community members, which is designed to help reach this figure.
