12x Bigger in half the time! 🚀 That's what we've achieved with Reveel (r3vl.xyz). In just over 6 months, we've acquired a user base 12 times larger than what our closest competitor reached in twelve months! 🏎️💨 And we did it without spending a single dollar on marketing! 🤯 (excl. salaries & email client) Averaging 18% growth MoM, we're on track to reach ~2 Million users in 2 years. As a point of comparison, PayPal reached 1 Million users in 2 years, and they have case studies written about their early growth. 🤓 So how did we do it❓ Here are some of the things we got right: 1️⃣ Build Community from Day 1 From the very beginning of Reveel & through our pivots, I've been very vocal about our vision & mission. 📢 Some people thing it's risky to share your startup idea. I think it's deadly not to! Not only is it a way to validate your ideas, but it's how you find believers, adopters, buyers & advocates. When these people start showing up, offer them a home and get them involved. We did this through Discord, Twitter/X, & Email. 🏠 2️⃣ Get Ready to Capture Attention We set the right systems in place to capture interest & enable our community to bring their friends along. ⚙️ We made getting involved with Reveel low effort, feel exclusive, and fun. This was achieved primarily by gamifying our waitlist. 🎮 As members shared or referred friends, they won points and rose through on the leaderboard to get early access. 3️⃣ Build Product through Community Centered Design I'm a believer in human centered design. It becomes even more powerful when you have a community of people who have bought into your vision and are excited to share their problems, needs, & desires. 🤝 We spend a lot of time listening to & probing our community, created VIP groups for power users, and set up a simple way to suggest & vote on product ideas. 💡 4️⃣ Leverage Community to Accelerate Growth We treated referrals as a core feature of the platform, from the very first version of the product (alpha), ensuring that product-led growth was intertwined with product development - looping back to Community Centered Design. 🔁 To further accelerate growth, we incentivized referrals by developing an in-app point system. ✨ In short, this Community-Led Growth strategy has centered around 4 key steps: Share, Capture, Learn, Empower. ♟️ As a result, we saw a 9x k-factor during our closed alpha and 4x during our open beta. 📈 As we keep fine tuning Reveel (r3vl.xyz)'s growth strategy, I'll make sure to share our learnings here!

Just wrapped a call with a Web3 founder building something special. Here's what we discussed about community building: 🧵👇 1/ People think Web3 marketing = airdrop announcements Reality: It's about building genuine user adoption first The token should FOLLOW product success, not lead it. Product success CAN BE a maxed out waitlist as well. 2/ The "Community Raid" Blueprint: cross-pollinate with 1k-100k member communities incentivize meaningful participation focus on retention mechanics build organic engagement create lasting value 3/ successful community raids... Don't just throw tokens at people. Build a reason for them to stay: real utility clear value prop genuine community long-term vision 4/ mistake... High incentives = More users Principle: High incentives = Wrong users You want people who need your product, not your token. They will use your token to access the product. 5/ Our approach with successful projects: Month 1: Test incentive models Month 2: Run targeted raids Month 3: Optimize retention Month 4: Scale what works No shortcuts. Just systematic growth.

Shopify’s tools make creating, managing, and growing your store seems easy. 3️. Sellfy Great for creators selling digital products, physical goods, or subscriptions. Known for its simplicity. Starter plan: $29/month. 4️. Systeme. io An all-in-one platform with e-commerce features, sales funnels, email marketing, and membership site creation. Ideal for handling multiple business aspects seamlessly. 5️. Gumroad A hassle-free way to sell digital products and memberships. Loved by creators for its ease of use and quick setup. 6️. Linktree A simple landing page solution to direct followers to various products or content from one link—perfect for consolidating multiple destinations in your social profiles.
