A tragic accident at an unfinished bridge in #Bareilly raises pressing questions about accountability. No warning signals, no barriers, no lights—critical safety measures were missing at this site. In the absence of proper signage, drivers were unknowingly led to danger. Blaming technology, like Google Maps, shifts focus away from the core issue: inadequate infrastructure and negligence in ensuring public safety. This incident highlights the urgent need for better monitoring and enforcement of safety standards at construction sites. Who should be held responsible for such preventable loss of life? Let's demand action to prevent future tragedies. #RoadSafety #InfrastructureAccountability

🔎 How TaskTag Is Keeping Construction Crews Safe During the Houston Tornado 📲 When the tornado struck Houston on 16 May 2024, construction sites across the city were in immediate danger. With workers spread across multiple job sites, it was critical that site managers could quickly communicate safety instructions and monitor the status of their crews. That's where TaskTag made all the difference. As the storm worsened, site managers were able to use TaskTag's real-time chat function to warn their crews, assign tasks for securing job sites, and request status updates. The tagging feature allowed them to easily organize communications by project, ensuring no site was overlooked. "TaskTag has been a lifesaver during the tornado," said Alex, a project manager at a Texas-based commercial construction firm. "I was able to account for all my crews within minutes and make sure everyone got to safety. The ability to share photos and documents right in the chat was crucial for coordinating our emergency response." TaskTag has helped construction companies get back on their feet faster. Site managers have used the app to document damage, share updates with clients, and deploy repair crews efficiently. The centralized file storage meant they didn't waste time searching for important records. "In a crisis situation, clear communication can be the difference between life and death," said the CEO of TaskTag. "Our platform is designed to give construction teams the real-time coordination they need to stay safe and keep projects on track, no matter what challenges they face." As the Houston construction industry rebuilds in the wake of the tornado, TaskTag will undoubtedly continue to play a vital role in protecting workers and project workflows. This crisis has demonstrated the critical importance of construction technology that puts people first. #ConstructionTechnology #EmergencyPreparedness #HoustonTornado #TaskTag #Construction #ConstructionManagement

Here’s what I’ve learned from working with property management and maintenance pros (aka the unsung heroes of keeping things from falling apart): 1️⃣ Be Consultative: Understand their needs and ask the right questions. These folks are juggling tenant complaints, ownership demands, and random emergencies—sometimes all before lunch. If we can’t help lighten the load or make their decisions easier, what are we even doing? 2️⃣ Empower Them: Know our role. Give them the information they need so they can make a confident decision on a solution and then deliver on production to help them be the rockstars they are. When they need some support in solving a problem on their properties; they’re the heroes and we’re the trusted sidekick. 3️⃣ Show Up When It Counts: Storms and leaks don’t care about office hours. We have to make sure we’re there in the trenches with them when they need us most, or someone else will be. Bottom line: Help them shine, and they’ll remember us. Because in their world, trust is built in the trenches, not in a pitch. Colony Roofers #MultiFamily #PropertyManagement #CommercialRoofing #RoofMaintenance #Support #TrenchesNotPitches #NoPitchZone

Today and everyday we want to emphasize the importance of calling before you dig. Whether it’s a major pipeline, highway, or business development, or as simple as planting a tree at your home, call 811 first! #digthedate #makeeverydigcount
Did you know that every few minutes an underground utility line is damaged because someone chose to dig without contacting 811? Today, August 11, we recognize and celebrate 811 Day, which serves as an excellent reminder for both homeowners and professionals to contact 811 before starting any digging projects. Remember to prioritize safety and keep critical utilities connected this summer with 811. #Safety #Call811 #811Day #811BeforeYouDig
