Christine Boyle’s Post

View profile for Christine Boyle

Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. MLA for Vancouver-Little Mountain.

Vancouver, it has been an honour to serve as one of your City Councillors over the past 6 years. I want to thank the hard working staff across the City of Vancouver, and residents who care so much about this city. I’ve been so grateful to work alongside you all, and the good folks of OneCity Vancouver, to take meaningful action on housing, climate, reconciliation, transportation and more. I look forward to continuing to work with you in my new role as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Vancouver-Little Mountain. For those who have been asking: I’ve put in a formal request to begin an unpaid leave as soon as it is granted by Council, with the intention to formally resign in December. This timeline was requested by city staff, as it will allow staff the time needed to run a by-election, and ensure that it doesn’t conflict with the busy city budget and holiday season. I’m grateful for the trust that #Vancouver #LittleMountain residents have put in me, and am ready to get to work as their MLA.
