Why are Application Users at Fulton Hogan so excited!? Alisha Peter, Programme Planner for the Future Systems Programme at Fulton Hogan, shares how Oracle Guided Learning for JD Edwards (OGL4JDE) is driving rapid user adoption throughout the company's business systems and process transformation. OGL4JDE stands out for its effectiveness and efficiency compared to traditional e-learning and classroom training. Like a car navigation system, it provides live, in-application, contextual guidance to users. OGL4JDE communicates the pathway, showing users each step needed to complete a transaction. These guides, tailored to user roles, make it easy for users at all levels to navigate transactions, adapt to process changes, and comply with company policies effortlessly. OGL4JDE's ability to deliver targeted, role-specific guidance throughout the project lifecycle was essential to Fulton Hogan. Users have been able to experience, and test, new processes, well before they are live! As a leading digital adoption platform (DAP), OGL4JDE provides a consistent adoption environment, across all web-based applications, including JDE and non-Oracle applications. Real-time analytics enable Fulton Hogan's Change and Training teams to assess training effectiveness and user adoption statistics. Combined with live user feedback and "star" ratings, they can pinpoint areas for improvement. Using the enterprise content management tools provided by OGL4JDE, the teams can make necessary adjustments to drive continuous improvement. https://lnkd.in/gVBca8e4 Discover more about OGL4JDE here: https://lnkd.in/ghsAhhcm #DAP #DigitalAdoption #OracleGuidedLearning #JDEdwards #NonOracleApplications #SystemsTransformation #NewUserOnboarding

The weaknesses of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O stem from its more generalized nature. It may lack robust compliance and quality capabilities, requiring additional add-ons or custom development to address these needs, potentially increasing implementation time and cost. Additionally, its comprehensive financial control features might be overwhelming for smaller companies. As such, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O may not be suitable for very small businesses. When we try to please everyone, we inevitably please no one. The idea of an MVP-filter for decision making is really helpful. #implementationsuccess #erpfails #changemanagement
Unpopular Opinion: Saying No is more important than yes in software implementations I made this statement five weeks ago, spurring some great conversation. Today, I still think this is one of the most important skills anyone involved in ERP implementations MUST master. Why? Because if you don't your chances of failure shoot straight up. (I heard the failure rate is over 70% from Marco Romano, yikes!) So how do you say no? Here are three techniques: 1/ The "MVP" Filter Every department has a critical path. The core, non-negotiable outcome you must achieve. Before saying yes to anything ask "Does this contribute to my MVP?" If not, it's a "no". (at least a "not right now") This will result in • laser-sharp focus • reduced overwhelm • faster progress on the most important goals 2/ The "Opportunity Cost" Calculation Every YES has a hidden price. Saying "yes" to one thing means saying "no" to something else. Before agreeing, think about what you are saying no to. If that is a non-negotiable, then the new request is a no. This (1) protects the MVP, (2) keeps the project on track, and (3) increases the chances of success. 3/ The "Realignment" Strategy Priorities and external factors will impact your original plan. Before starting the implementation, have a clear plan for how to make changes to the path. Agree on this plan BEFORE the implementation. This keeps everyone on the same page while allowing for flexibility and unforeseen obstacles. To Recap: 1. Determine the MVP 2. Weigh the cost of saying yes 3. Create a plan to deal with changes What do you think? Is it hard for you to say no? -- P.S.
