💡 On Monday this week, I was privileged to take part in the first NR/Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon held at our Puddle Dock offices. It was an absolutely terrific day, bringing together users of the Copilot trial from across the organisation to share their experiences of using this powerful AI tool to enhance their day to day work. The centrepiece of the day was a Dragon’s Den style competition, where we were split into teams representing different functions. Luckily enough, I was on team Comms, and even more luckily, I had my comms colleagues Aidan Martin, Jyotsna Varlagadda and Kaleb Ells on my side! There were lots of great presentations after an intense two hours of everyone beavering away, which gave me lots of food for thought about how to use Copilot and AI in comms in ways I might not have considered. With the niceties out of the way however, I can confirm that Team Comms took the W 🎉 with our project around using Copilot to build a comms campaign, with multiple tacticals, personas and evaluation from scratch. We’re now proud owners of some geeky Copilot swag, foremost amongst the prizes being the Microsoft socks! 🏆 (modelled snappily by Aidan below 😁 ) Huge thanks to Michelle Davis and her colleagues in the IT team at Network Rail, alongside our partners Sammy Rasha and colleagues at Microsoft, and Jon Nish and colleagues at KPMG UK for putting on such a terrific day! #AI #TeamComms #copilot #m365copilot #microsoft #promptathon #AI #GenerativeAI #Microsocks CC with thanks to Simon Goodman for getting us involved from the outset!

This is brilliant Chris, thank you for the write up. It was a great day and an absolute pleasure to have met you all and of course be on the winning team. I was also genuinely impressed by the socks. Decent quality actually and they held out for the whole day 😄
