Excited to share the recording from LabGenius' recent presentation at PEGS Europe 2024. 🎥 Check out the work we're doing to deliver novel T-cell engagers with complete on/off killing selectivity. This is a great example of how the closed loop integration of machine learning with high throughput experimentation can deliver high performing therapeutics - often with non-intuitive designs.
Did you miss our presentation at #PEGSEurope? Watch the video below to hear James Field describe how LabGenius' unique discovery platform is being used to establish a wholly-owned pipeline of highly selective T-cell engagers for the treatment of solid tumours. LabGenius’ platform, which is underpinned by the closed-loop integration of ML and high-throughput experimentation, is enabling the company to pursue targets that have traditionally been associated with on-target off-tumour toxicity. We are thrilled to share that an insightful article about Jaroslav Klíma, the visionary founder of our company, was just featured in Forbes Czech! 🌟 His inspiring story of building and selling Tescan and now driving cutting-edge innovation at Telight is a testament to his relentless ambition and groundbreaking work in microscopy. He is an inspiring figure in the Brno microscopy region, if you ever have a chance to meet him, ask him how he was testing his first inventions at 4am, because that was the only time when “šalinas” trams were not driving, hence causing vibrations to disturb his findings. 🔗https://lnkd.in/e5fKfdad From creating advanced microscopes that explore the invisible to making strides in medical research with Telight’s super-resolution devices, Jaroslav continues to reshape the world of science and technology. His dedication, vision, and ability to turn challenges into new opportunities are truly remarkable. 💡 Read about how he’s on the path to repeating his extraordinary success with Tescan, this time with Telight, and why the global scientific and academic community is noticing our unique products like Q-Phase and LiveCodim. It’s an exciting time for all of us at Telight as we continue pushing boundaries and innovating! Wait for our next post, we have improved the algorithm on the LiveCodim imaging system, and the results are nothing short of..AMAZING ....(⌐■_■).... #Microscopy #Leadership #Technology #Forbes #Telight #QPhase #LiveCodim #JIC

I was very honored to be invited to the 75th anniversary of the department of statistics of Virginia Tech together with Bart De Ketelaere and Dewi Van De Vyver (Effex) and to simultaneously celebrate the 70th birthday of Geoff Vining. I had the chance to present my innovative work on OMARS (Orthogonal Minimally Aliased Response Surface) designs at the conference. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 OMARS designs elegantly bridge the gap between definitive screening designs and classical response surface methods, like central composite and Box-Behnken designs. ✅ Run-Size Efficiency: Economical designs that require fewer experimental runs. ✅ Flexibility: Handle many factors effectively, blending screening and optimization in one step. ✅ Cost-Effectiveness: Significant savings in time and resources, especially for costly experiments. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 As experimentation becomes more critical in fields like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and advanced manufacturing, innovations like OMARS are key to tackling complex problems while managing costs and resources. WELCOME MESSAGE It is a great pleasure to welcome you to this Symposium aiming at discussing from various scientific and technological perspectives the global need for reproducibility of enzyme reaction data. Standards for Reporting Enzymology Data (STRENDA) enable researchers to compare, evaluate, interpret and reproduce th vast and increasing amount of experimental research results published in the literature and databases. The STRENDA Project of the Beilstein Institut and the European Society of Applied Biocatalysis (ESAB) share common interests in standardization and have joined forces to organize this first STRENDA/ESAB-Symposium. The Beilstein Symposia address contemporary issues in chemistry and neigh-bouring sciences by emphasizing interdisciplinarity. Scientists from a wide range of areas – often outside chemistry – are invited to present (provoking) aspects of their work for “out of the box” discussion with the aim not only to advance science, but also to enhance interdisciplinary communication. The European Society of Applied Biocatalysis (ESAB) takes initiatives in areas of growing scientific and industrial interest and importance in the field of applied biocatalysis and identifies key topics which may be rate-limiting in the development of scientific progress and technological prospects in applied biocatalysis and takes steps to stimulate these areas. The STRENDA/ESAB Symposium provides a forum for discussing, highlighting and learning from different perspectives the need for reproducibility of enzyme reaction data. Roland Wohlgemuth and Carsten Kettner
