Another amazing experience thanks to Cal Poly Women in Business Association! Last Friday, I had the opportunity to visit Amazon and Intuitive in the Bay Area on a corporate tour. Seeing firsthand how these companies innovate and lead in their industries was truly inspiring. From learning about Amazon’s Leadership Principles to exploring the cutting edge technology behind Intuitive’s robotic-assisted surgery, I gained valuable insights into the future of business and healthcare. I am especially grateful for the chance to hear from such strong and resilient women in the business industry, and gain a deeper insight into their experiences and what it means to navigate the workplace as a woman. A huge thank you to Hayley Morgan, Alexandra Westall, Khushi Sharma, and Amy Carter for not only organizing this invaluable experience, but for all the work to make the 2025 Women in Business Leadership Academy possible!
