This is a game changing day for Mission and hopefully the nutrition industry. Our food and drink system has slowly become broken. We’ve now created a world first energy drink to start to repair it! I feel incredibly proud of the small team who saw what I saw and wanted to do something about it too. I think about it a lot but rarely say it - Founders can get way too much credit. I contributed a small amount to this project but these people are the ones who deserve real credit. From 6am starts on factory floors to late night office debates on the tiniest of print details, this team went the extra mile on everything. They are incredibly talented in so many different ways. My no.1 favourite thing about starting this business has been getting the chance to work with and learn from them. Ellie Bilsland - the Mission engine, scientist, athlete and now much loved face of our community! Everything you see and read about this can is Ellie’s work. When you taste it and feel lightly energised, that was her work too (but she’d be too humble to tell you)! Brad Stokes - When you hear that our can is used by premier league football clubs and national sports teams already, that’s because of Brad. He is deeply determined and just a great human! Dariia Parkhomenko - Making a can at scale (alongside everything else) can be stressful. You genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell looking at the person sitting across from me in the office! Thanks Dariia for being an ops + data queen! James Wynn-Higgins - James has master minded everything from early can design process to polished launch plan details. He is a deep thinker and a turbo operator - what a combo for growth! Freddie Edwards - Freddie has changed Mission more than he knows. Every day someone mentions to me how much our brand has come on and how amazing this product looks - that’s all Fred. Katrina Kelly - Since joining 6 months ago, Katrina has become our natural drummer. There seems no limit to the amount she takes off my plate and then does it better than I ever could. I love our radical transparency. I love that she shed a tear of joy when our cans started running at the right carbonation specification on the line (sorry KK). More credit should also go to our incredible support teams, crazily passionate + supportive investors, trusting retail partners and of course - customers who know we’re onto something big! What an incredible team we all make and what an incredible journey that lies ahead. Let’s change the way the world fuels. Let’s GO!

From Christmas Cheer to Hospital Fear Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! Now that the big day is over, many of you are probably looking forward to enjoying those delicious leftovers on Boxing Day! But have you ever wondered how to keep your leftovers fresh and safe to eat? As a Food Scientist, I am excited to share some valuable tips on how to do so: 1.Cool it down quickly: This means to reduce the temperature of your cooked Christmas meal quickly, within a safe time frame. This helps prevent bacterial growth. Here is how to: - After cooking, let your meal rest for a short time (about 30 minutes to 1 hour) - Transfer the food to shallow, airtight containers to speed up cooling - Refrigerate or freeze the containers as soon as possible This helps cool your meal down quickly and safely, so you can enjoy your leftovers later! 2. Use airtight containers: Store leftovers in covered, airtight containers. 3. Label and date: This is especially helpful if you plan on enjoying them beyond Boxing Day (December 26). By labeling and dating your containers, you will know exactly what you have and how long it's been stored. Plus, if you have trouble remembering when you cooked something, the date will be right there on the label! 4. Reheat safely: Reheat to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). If you notice any off or unpleasant odour, slimy or soft texture , mold or yeast , unusual colors when thawing or reheating frozen leftovers please discard immediately. By following these simple tips, you will enjoy your Christmas leftovers safely and deliciously on Boxing Day and beyond! #FoodSafety #BoxingDay #Christmas
