The Middle East is setting the pace with groundbreaking CEO appointments! 🚀 According to Heidrick & Struggles' 2023 Route to the Top report, the region boasts the highest percentage of new CEO appointments globally, averaging an impressive 16%. And within this, Saudi Arabia shines with one of the highest percentages at 20%. But we're not alone in this feat! Poland, at 29%, and Switzerland, at 26%, stand shoulder to shoulder with us in fostering leadership excellence. 🌍 Additionally, Middle East companies lead the world with a remarkable 90% of CEOs having prior C-suite experience, showcasing our commitment to seasoned leadership. 🎓Youth is also at the forefront of our leadership ethos. The Middle East prefers its CEOs young, with the current lowest average age standing at 54.5, with the UAE boasting the lowest global average at 52.7.
