Brown Shipley’s parent company Quintet Private Bank and BlackRock are delighted to introduce The Rise of Generational Wealth: European Wealth Insights. Amidst the greatest transfer of private wealth in history, we believe that understanding generational drivers and differences is more crucial than ever for organizations that help individuals and families towards their wealth planning objectives. That’s why Quintet Private Bank are introducing this in-depth report, based on a proprietary survey of high net worth individuals in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. The survey was conducted on behalf of Brown Shipley’s parent company Quintet Group and BlackRock by Ipsos UK. The introduction of this report follows the signing of a 2023 cooperation agreement between Quintet and BlackRock and the launch earlier this year of the first in a series of Quintet multi-manager investment funds designed with BlackRock and available to clients of the Quintet group, including Brown Shipley clients. Investors are looking to pivot away from developed markets and large-caps, Mats Eltoft, head of Nordic business development and client relationships at US asset manager William Blair, tells AMWatch, in the latest article our International Managers Summer Series. “Many of the investors we engage with believe there could be a pivot soon and are actively looking at various ways to diversify their portfolios. This pivot might be driven by high valuations in developed markets and large-cap stocks, prompting investors to diversify into emerging markets and small-cap stocks as the discrepancy widens,” Eltoft says. #assetmanagement #assetmanager #financialmarkets #bankingindustry #investments #stockmarket #emergingmarkets #pensionfunds #Nordic

"In uncertain times our strategy remains firm. We believe that our philosophy, of diversifying the Manager line-up across a broad range of styles from different regions and approaches, will allow performance to continue to be driven more by bottom up fundamentals than by the prevailing winds of the macro-economy, or factors such as growth or value styles being in vogue." MLC's Portfolio Manager, Global Equities Liam Wilson took a deep dive into the world of global equities with employer clients today. During the live investment webinar, Liam shared the latest trends and opportunities for global equities, and strategies within our portfolio. This quarterly webinar series features an expert MLC Asset Management panel, with May's edition providing employer clients with an economic and market update, MySuper performance and portfolio update, as well as a spotlight on Global Equities.
