What more does Mac McClung need to do to get a roster spot at the National Basketball Association (NBA)? In case you don’t know him, Mac is the reigning NBA G League MVP (Minor League of basketball), averaging 27 points per game - and he’s won the #NBA Slam Dunk Contest a record THREE consecutive years. (Everyone must google his “jumping over a #KIA dunk from last weekend!) In most businesses, if someone is crushing standards at one level of the organization, they usually get a chance at trying their hand at the next level. At least the organization will then know what the team member’s ceiling is. #KurtWarner bagged groceries while playing in the Arena Football League . #MikePiazza was benched in college and played JuCo instead. #TomBrady started as the 7th rated QB at Michigan and the 4th rated QB for the New England Patriots. All those athletes became Hall of Famers. Imagine if they were never given a chance. What more does Mac McClung need to do to be given his NBA chance?

6dWhen given the opportunity during his stint with 76'ers, Mac showed promise. At face value, he doesn't seem like a liability on the court compared to others who are currently rostered across the NBA. Hopefully he gets another (and proper) opportunity before he becomes basketball's version of Ken Phelps.
