🎉 GScan has been named Estonian DeepTech of the Year 2024! 🎉
🔥 What makes this one unique - the jury consists only by the 222 founders! A huge thank you to the Estonian Startup Awards and congratulations to all the incredible winners! It was an honor to be among such a talented group of innovators, especially our fellow deeptech nominees Frankenburg Technologies – Taavi Madiberk, DefSecIntel Solutions – Jaanus Tamm, and Nanordica Medical – Olesja Bondarenko.
🔥 We're also proud to have secured second place in the hardware category, alongside DefSecIntel Solutions – Jaanus Tamm and VOOL – Juhan Harm.
This award would not been possible without our early customers National Highways – @Colin George, AtkinsRéalis – Chris Mundell, Jacobs & Amentum – Liam Harrison, Sellafield Ltd – Simon Malone, ALARA AS – Ivo Tatrik, and Estonian Transportation Administration and other Estonian public sector clients – Taivo Kurg, Rait Kuuse.
🔥 Our special thanks go to the Estonian Innovation Agency RUP and EU Horizon programmes, Innovate UK and EIC Scaling Club for their continuous support. We have not been there without our R&D partners, mainly the University of Cambridge – Erika Pärn, Ioannis Brilakis and the University of Tartu and the TUM Venture Labs in Munich.
But this award is also a testament to the passion and expertise of every single person at GScan.
🔥 The competition was fierce this year with 90 nominees across 11 categories. This recognition fuels our passion to continue pushing the boundaries of #NonDestructiveTesting with our combination of #MuonTomography and #AI. The 120 000 bridges in the UK, Germany and Estonia, we are coming to #inspect you in 2025! 🇬🇧 🇪🇪 🇩🇪
