Learning matters. If not for day-to-day performance, then certainly for long-term improvement. Seems self-evident, but is it? How much of today's time, effort, and technology are deployed to reduce the need for learning altogether, especially in sales. Heck, if we can tune the AI just right, we don't need our people to learn at all. Just follow the instructions. Even better, with the right agent, we may not need humans at all. No doubt, the case for automation is a compelling one, and we've seen incredible progress. But let's not forget, most arguments for automation typically come with caveats like, "so humans can focus on higher value activities," or "so people can concentrate on generating greater value on those tasks that matter most." But that can only happen if humans actually learn. And these days, there's a *lot* to learn. It's cliche to say the world is evolving at an ever more rapid rate, but that doesn't make it any less true. The sales skills and behaviors we need going forward simply can't be fully automated--at least not yet, as AI is largely built on the world that already exists not the world that constantly and rapidly evolves. Success in that world still relies on a healthy dose of human ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility, which fundamentally requires a deep understanding that comes from learning. That's how we built Qoos. To effectively cover both bases simultaneously. Yes, we use AI to help proactively guide sellers through the familiar world of complex B2B sales, but we simultaneously teach sellers through small bursts of micro-learning the *why* of those actions, ensuring they're equipped to adapt over the long-term to sustain success going forward. Yes, we can improve win rates today, but not at the expense of equipping sellers to succeed going forward. Qoos is designed to help your sellers today while simultaneously developing them for tomorrow. Future proof your sales force with Qoos. Micro-learning, deal qualification, and stakeholder analysis baked directly into HubSpot CRM. If you're looking to move deals and develop skill at the same time, all without leaving the flow of work, Qoos is a powerful way to do it. Qoos.ai. Learn More.
Brent Adamson ..very interesting!!
I am a fan and have great respect for Brent Adamson, which is why I am so excited about Qoos. Sales training over the year has been really a joke, if the industry leaders knew that shortly after sales training, 90%+ was forgotten. Many times, that's because the sales training had nothing to do with being better at serving and helping a customer but all about making sure you made your dials and closed deals for the week, month, etc.
I've been using your great line Brent: "many of todays' AI tools allow the seller to do more and more, or what matters less and less". Micro-learning is about making the front-line more effective and their jobs, not just more efficient. Great post.
