“When we build our two facilities, both of them are dedicated food-grade facilities. This means when you come to CDMOs like us, you are working in a food environment, with specific tanks and specific downstream processing meant for food manufacturing and not for any other purposes." Our CEO, Francisco M. Codoñer, PhD, Executive MBA emphasised this at a panel at last month’s Future Food-Tech. With our unique magical mix of food-grade facilities and expertise, spanning from bench to market, Team ScaleUp Bio offers global food tech start-ups the support they need to bring their food innovations from ideation into reality. Our collaborative business ecosystem and access to potential funding from our blue-chip corporate network, can also enable and empower start-ups to ScaleUp and make an impact in the upcoming food revolution. If you are keen to know more, DM us here or drop us an email at [email protected] to see how we can ScaleUp your food ideas into success. Thank you again to Team Rethink Events for providing the opportunity to share our Singapore story at last month’s Future Food-Tech in San Francisco, USA. And of course, none of this would be possible without the support and guidance from our blue-chip corporate parents, global nutrition leader ADM and Singapore’s own global investment company Temasek, through its Nurasa unit. It’s #WorldFoodDay! 🌱👩🏽🌾🍽️ 🍏 As a dedicated lifelong food systems change-maker, it’s a day that has ALWAYS been important to me - but now it has risen to even more significance as it represents the anniversary of the TFF #ValenciaDeclaration. Exactly one year ago, I invited a small group of 16 passionate change-makers from every region of the world to chart a bold, new path for the future of #innovation in food and agriculture. We decided to move Thought For Food to a new organizational model - one that is decentralized and powered by the global community, without me as the helm as CEO. The conversations about how to do this were sometimes hard, but mostly invigorating - and ultimately resulted in the development and signing of the #ValenciaDeclaration, an enduring artifact that commemorates the unprecedented power of #nextgen innovation for transforming food systems. It reflects is our commitment to keeping the energy and ideas that TFF brought to the world alive through: #connections, #collaborations, #action, and #impact. You can find a link to the Valencia Declaration in the comments below along with our guiding principles (like our “do-ocracy” - a concept I just love!) The TFF Transition Committee has been hard at work over the past year designing this brave future of TFF - and there’s more to come… Stay tuned for: ✅ The drop of our ‘TFF Next-Gen Innovation Toolkit:’ an open-source, freely-accessible library of hundreds of world-class agrifood, entrepreneurship, and change-making resources that we will hope will be used by founders, academic institutions, and other innovators. ✅ Our 2024 Holiday Gift Guide—spotlighting next-gen products that are dedicated to making a difference. ✅ And the brand-new digital home for our our decentralized communities of TFFers worldwide. We will be sharing more about these in the weeks to come. 👀 We’re proud of the solutions we’ve developed and the change-making spirit we’ve infused into the industry. If you haven’t felt this for yourself, be check out the link I’ve put in the comments: dive into movies we made about solutions, our change-maker desert rave; and GenerationFest - a new standard for what purposeful events can look like. Today and everyday, we celebrate innovation and progress to make the world a better place. We celebrate all we have done at TFF to amplify the burgeoning ideas and approaches of new and different global voices while contributing to the elimination of barriers that inhibit us all from achieving true and lasting change. Onwards and upwards, the TFF spirit carries on! 🚀🚀 Now, we’re gearing up to go GIGA.
