Isn't supersonic flight banned over land. Not commercially viable, waiting on NASA CST Programme. Problematic considering GHG Emmissions. Hugely expensive compared to reductions in travel & larger commercial jets for long haul. I would love to be onboard in 10 years. Let's hope the Tech & Marketing guys get their sums right this time. Is money a problem. Perhaps a crowd funded element may indicate what the public opinion really is. How much would an up front ticket deposit be. If ticket projections of $5000.00 usd is accurate. If you're flying from London Heathrow, Stanstead or Gatwick to NY. I'm in. So long as I get a printed ticket to show for it. We should get behind this sort of aviation enterprise.
