Founder @ Zogo, Forbes 30 under 30, Mr. Pineapple

When I decide to do something, I do it fast and aggressively. At 19, I decided to start a company. I quickly pulled together friends at Duke University and we launched Zogo 🚀 Three years later, with no VC funding, Zogo became the leading financial wellness solution with millions of users and 200+ FI customers—and was acquired for eight-figures. Last year, I turned 25, left Zogo, and decided to travel the world 🌎 In 12 months, I visited 32 countries across all seven continents. At first, it was incredible. the world felt like my oyster. I was free. But by the end? I just felt numb. Oh, and my passport got stolen in Amsterdam—my last stop ☠️—almost like the universe telling me it was time to go home. Admittedly, I was confused last year. Turns out, freedom isn’t what I actually wanted. Constraints are what make life an interesting puzzle. I miss the game, and I miss winning. So now, I’m back in the SF & Austin—and all in on AI! With AI, launching new tech applications has become faster and cheaper—way more than when I started Zogo. But acquiring & building genuine relationships with customers? That part hasn’t gotten any easier—if anything, it’s even harder now. I believe the best salespeople have what it takes to be great founders. You already know how to sell, build relationships, and drive revenue—the hardest parts of building a business. So now, I’m looking for killer sales talent —AEs at tech companies, top reps at BestBuy, or anywhere else you're crushing it 💯 If you are watching AI transform the industries you’re in and thinking, “Am I missing out?” DM me. I might have an interesting proposal for you💡 #sales #entrepreneurs #startups #AI

This is such an interesting insight—freedom sounds like the dream, but constraints are what actually give life direction. 🚀 It’s easy to romanticize “doing anything, anytime,” but without a challenge or structure, it can feel empty. The key seems to be finding the right balance between freedom and purpose. Curious Bolun Li what’s the one constraint that actually helped you grow the most?

Now this is the kind of drive I strive to have myself. Just found this post by chance on my feed, but it sparked a fire within me to keep pursuing my goals relentlessly. And when those goals are achieved? Keep aiming higher. I have to try that Zogo app myself as one of my goals is to get my finances in check. I know I just found out about you a few minutes ago, but I wish you the best in your endeavors! I look forward to witnessing your climb to the top.
