19hI see it also being a huge plus for working parents looking for more flexible work but still keeping their techniques and skills up to date. It’s difficult to find full time work that is also flexible when your main skill is bench work, but if it were possible to be able to be a contract worker in a specific technique (like qPCR / liquid handler / etc) it’d be great to be able to be dropped in to fill manufacturing or QC gaps intermittently. And this is exactly the kind of part time I as the parent of young kids would love to do!
