Point solution fatigue in digital health creates a unique challenge for early stage digital health companies. A common recommendation to start-ups is 'do one thing and do it well', and while this advice has worked in the pharma and medical device space the integration complexities of digital health products may mean this concept may not work so well. Doing one thing well in the digital health space could in itself create a go-to-market barrier for digital health start-ups. This article dives into this issue from an employee benefits view-point, but many of the issues highlighted impact the scaled deployment of digital health products in the healthcare provider space. I am surprised that the article didn't add in working through a digital health aggregator as a solution to some of these challenges. Engaging multiple digital health products through a single platform can create a more unified patient experience, support a whole patient care model and streamline the need to deal with multiple digital health partners and minimise administrative burden. Addressing these challenges facing stakeholders on both sides of the digital health equation one of the reasons why we created Peach Health Asia, and it is reassuring to see other parties identifying the challenges we are seeking to address in Asia.
