It's the little things that can matter. This week I received a short note from one of our GP's and Clinical Leads. In the email it said "I wanted to highlight the massive work that has occurred in MSE ICB and predecessor organisations over the last 10 years. Digitally we are significantly ahead as an ICS. Well done for the legacy you are all creating." A heartening message to receive and it should be shared with thanks to all the hard work our clinical leads, operational teams, digital teams and wider supporting people. In a system that is in a very difficult place you are all keeping your heads down and delivering in a determined manner to make a difference for the population we serve. Adam Whiting MSc Digital Health Leadership,Peter King,Sam Neville,Richard Pullen, Felim McCarthy, Martin Callingham, Zephan Trent, Paul Scott, Clare Steward, Christopher Wright, Ryan A., David Pike, Husman Rafiq, Gladvine Mundempilly, Liz Harrison, Phil Crofts, Stuart Webster, Bibi Hossenbux, Janette Leonard, Rebecca Pulford, Treesa Carter, Jane Marley, Deepa Shanmugasundaram, Philip Richards, krishna ramkhelawon, Ian McLernon (MCIPS) PROSCI, Kate Bartram, Jo OBrien, Joe Nellist MCIPR, Joe Burton and many others that I will have missed - Thank you!. This morning I have received some benefits work from the implementation of our Shared Care Record. It highlights time saving for our Continuing Health Care Team of around 3hrs per case review through not needing to chase for information through phones calls and emails. There are multiple examples where our Community Led Support Teams and Integrated Locality teams have identified time saved on every case they have citing a reduction of need to contact GP teams for relevant information. Importantly easing pressure on the front line. My favourite comment whilst not measurable is "It is just brilliant!". Having worked for over 30 years in the NHS with a personal interest and focus on using tech to make a positive difference for patients. It is rare to have your clinical leads give that comment. Thank you to all involved - we have been on a journey together with still a long way to go. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System, Thurrock Council, Essex County Council, Provide Community, NHS North East London, Southend-on-Sea City Council, Taz Syed, Mandy Moore - special thanks back! To our partners at Orion Health - thank you for your focus and insight in making a difference!.
