Announcing e6data’s $10M Series A led by Accel, with participation from Beenext and others. We're particularly thrilled to be working closely alongside Shekhar Kirani. Our mission at e6data is to help customers access the full potential of Analytics and AI. If we are to achieve this, data intelligence platforms need to deliver a breakthrough in processing efficiency. This challenge is even more urgent given the surge in consumption driven by GenAI. We aim to do our part by focusing on the heavy, compute-intensive workloads that hurt customers the most. Enterprises who have trusted us have unlocked new capabilities through breakthroughs in analytics performance (5x faster at massive concurrency levels), and over 50% TCO savings on spend levels that were already optimised.  Over the recent past we've also found large customers to be frustrated at new forms of lock-in that restrict choice, stifle competition, and prevent them from accessing the best compute engine for the job. A guiding principle of our work at e6data is to negate such emerging forms of compute ecosystem lock-in wherever it is present in the data stack. Our most direct contribution to solving this is by building truly format-neutral compute with the same core price-performance promise across any cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), lakehouse format (Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Apache Hudi), and Data Catalogs / Governance layers (Hive, Glue, Unity Catalog, and soon Polaris). This funding enables us to support customers on their toughest, most expensive and most pressing workloads, while also doubling down on core engineering and product. We’re deeply grateful to our early customers who trusted us. To our investors who gave us the support and means to build in a space we love.
