I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined General Motors as Chief AI Officer. It’s an incredible time to be part of GM’s transformative journey, and I’m eager to contribute to the company’s innovation in applying AI to automotive technology. With over 25 years of experience leading exceptional AI teams and pioneering breakthroughs, including the world’s first LLM, Transformers, and other cutting-edge technologies, I’m excited to bring this expertise to GM. On a personal note, I recently visited the Smithsonian with my family and was truly inspired by the legacy of Chevrolet and Cadillac, and its enormous contribution to modern American and global history. GM has a remarkable culture of builders, and it’s an honor to contribute to the next chapter of such an iconic company.
