As a VC Scout for The Venture Reality Fund, I learned what works and what doesn't in regards to funding in XR. One thing I see far too often? Startups forgetting the basics: what problem they’re solving and how big the opportunity really is. Investors want clarity, not a scavenger hunt. Another misstep? No MVP or demo. Without something tangible to show, you’re essentially asking investors to take a blind leap.
