SAP TIPS FRIDAY - Must we really pay Oracle 19c Extended Maintenance fees from 1st May, as SAP Earlywatch 'suggests'? Whilst Oracle 19c enters extended support from 1st May, 2024, Oracle has waived Extended Support fees for its SAP clients until 30th April, 2026, whilst SAP certifies Oracle’s next release, 23c. Keep the money in your pocket for now, and periodically check SAP Note 2606828 for the latest for Oracle Roadmap for SAP. UPDATE: Addendum 10 in note 1174136 states: "From 1st May 2024 until 30th April 2026, Extended Support for version 19c is not extra charged. Please see SAP note 3301393 for details." The rule is the same in the SAP note 2606828 and the Metalink doc 742060.1 I would say there is nothing specific to SAP customers here -> Premier Support (PS) ends April 30, 2024, two years of waived Extended Support (ES) fees will be in effect from May 1, 2024 until April 30, 2026. Fees will be required beginning May 01, 2026 through April 30, 2027
