Hello SAP Team, Found a bug in CIS! While trying to change the SAML2.0 certificate in Signing certificate area, even after not clicking the SAVE button, Default certificate is getting updated (Looks like someone missed to see the save button 🙂). Below is the video of the issue. I tried few ways to report the issue. Couldn't do it using my P-user ID. Please let me know if there is any way to report it. Thanks! #SAP #SAPBTP #SAPCIS #SAPBugs

For SAP Basis folks: Always exit and reset SUM if you are cancelling SUM process. Issue: If you want to upgrade patches and start SPAM by just exiting SUM, it will give you an error “The system is currently being updated by Software Update Manager(SUM)” and wont allow you to move further. Solution: Reset SUM by using command “SAPup reset prepare” which you can find in bin directory of SUM. Also, kill any SUM processes from OS. Then delete SUM directory. Mistake: The biggest mistake we can do is to delete SUM directory before resetting SUM. The only option you have if you have made this mistake is to restore you DB with backup before the upgrade. SU24: Maintenance of authorizations for transaction codes. SU53: Display authorization data for failed authorization checks. SE16: Data browser for table access (with appropriate authorizations).
