Check out the latest work in JMD on establishing a human-AI workflow for evidence synthesis for global development. When designing evidence-based policies and programs, decision-makers must distill key information from a vast and rapidly growing literature base. Identifying relevant literature from raw search results is time and resource intensive and often done by manual screening. In this study, the authors develop an artificial intelligence (AI) agent based on a bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) model and incorporate it into a human team designing an evidence synthesis product for global development. I’m starting to think that AGI could finally be defined as a combination of Artificial Narrow Intelligences (ANIs). Just as our brain has a myriad of speciallized areas - yet not isolated as some neurons are shared. And the ANIs as algorithms. That is, a myriad of ML models along with human heuristics and reinforcements that live in a specific infrastructure.👌🏼 On that note, one can easily see that current “candidates to AGI” are just a very subset of it. Great inputs towards AI. PS: When those algorithms/ANIs are built upon Data MAPs there would be even the neurons-share across specialized areas by design (the MAUs and MAEs). Actually, our DataMAPs platform even call the models’ module “Stimulus”.
