But there is also another coin of the medal. Could companies misuse the information? First of all, as I see the value of #AI, I see the advantages for each employee and for myself. Like scrolling through Netflix, I do get recommendations of the best next learning to grow my skills and career. With all the badges I can earn, it is a little bit like a treasure hunt. But we cannot and should not just rely on the numbers. And average IBMer completed in 2023 👉 87 hours of learning 💪 ! What about those who are below the line? Are they lazy or have already resigned internally? Sometimes, there are other reasons which are not measurable for managers and these can only be revealed in a personal conversation, such as taking care of sick children or parents of if the employee is suffering from an #invisible challenge. This brings me also to a trustful and #ethical way to implement each AI solution as we do with our AI Ethics board to avoid misuse of AI. How do you keep your self up to date at work? It's fantastic to see a strong emphasis on continuous learning and personal growth within the workplace, especially with the innovative use of AI to tailor recommendations for skill development. However, it's crucial to remember that metrics don't tell the whole story. Personal circumstances and unseen challenges can impact an employee's ability to engage in learning activities. Therefore, a balance between data-driven insights and empathetic, individualized support is essential. Trust and ethical considerations should always guide the implementation of AI solutions.
