ENI, Tetrapak, NVIDIA, Leonardo, Ferrari, Mitsubishi, Florim, Deep Vision Consulting, Philip Morris, Unipol, HPE Group, Ammagamma (part of Accenture) — these are just a few of the innovative companies I had the honor of engaging with yesterday at "MORE AI," an event organized by Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and E4 Computer Engineering SpA, a leader in high-performance computing.🚀💡 The conference brought together industry leaders, researchers, and academics to discuss how we can raise awareness and understanding of AI to drive its broader adoption across sectors. Throughout the day, we explored how AI technologies like machine vision, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection are transforming production processes and creating new opportunities for efficiency and growth. 🔍 A key theme that emerged was the need to bridge the knowledge gap around AI applications, ensuring that employees and stakeholders across industries recognize the value and potential of these tools. By fostering a deeper understanding and making AI accessible, we can accelerate its integration into everyday business processes and unlock its full potential. 📈 A huge thank you to E4 Computer Engineering SpA, Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and all the incredible participants for such an inspiring event! 👏

Yep, still love marking. I must do, to spend this glorious Northern Beaches day indoors 😊. Here are some of the topics on the reading list today: - An analysis of “lying flat” through the lens of self-determination theory. - Pairing intuition with data-driven approaches to improve lawyer decision-making in complexity. - I would not have seen it if I did not believe it: critically analysing the implications of confirmation bias in lawyer decision-making. - The importance of leader emotional agility as an enabler of effective performance dialogue. - Psychological safety and in-house lawyering; is there room? - A critique of the Cynefin framework: complexity of concepts and language cause challenges in practice. - The role of psychological safety in employee voice and silence in a law firm. - Psychological safety, collaboration and performance in the human complexity of a global mining company. Interestingly, nobody in this class seems to have taken me up on my standing invitation to use their essay to critically analyse LLE through the lens of intersectionality. Thank you to all the wonderful professionals from around the world who have chosen to do LLE with me so far. It has been a joy to work with you.

From Budgets to Breakthroughs: My Week of Growth at Atomberg This week has been all about diving deep into the details that drive success—execution timelines, content calendars, budgeting, and ROI projections—all with a singular focus: scaling Atomberg Technologies revenue from ₹650 crore to an ambitious ₹1200 crore. 🚀 Every task feels like a purposeful stride toward this transformative goal, and the learning curve has been equally challenging and rewarding. 🔑 Highlights from this week’s journey: 1️⃣ Mastering ROI calculations: Understanding how numbers reveal efficiency and growth has been nothing short of enlightening. Every percentage tells a story! 2️⃣ Building a content calendar: This process challenged me to balance creativity with strategy, crafting engagement paths that resonate with our audience. 3️⃣ Budgeting for innovation: The delicate dance of aligning bold ideas with practical execution taught me that balancing ambition and feasibility is truly an art. It’s exciting to see how these building blocks come together to shape the bigger picture. I preferred focusing on personal development and achieving set goals away from the spotlight. However, I am diligent and persistent. I discovered important technical aspects, how to define my individual purpose on the platform, and most importantly, how to communicate effectively to convey exactly what I want to. For the last 14 years I have been trying to find and live my Ikigai: reason of being. 🎉 We're thrilled to announce that our team, TECHY SQUAD, has achieved incredible success with our Smart Parking and Booking System project! Participating in the "Freshathon" competition at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, we won 1st place at the class level and proudly secured 2nd place out of all first-year teams, earning a cash prize of ₹5000. 🏆💰 The competition was fierce with 15 finalist teams, but our innovative solution stood out. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us along the way. **Problem Statement:** Parking systems today suffer from congestion, inefficient space use, and lack of real-time updates, causing frustration and increased traffic. **Solution:** Our Smart Parking and Booking System leverages technology to optimize space allocation and provide real-time updates to users. Through a user-friendly platform and seamless booking process, we ensure efficient utilization of parking spaces, reduce congestion, and enhance the overall parking experience. What a difficult time it is! It has now been five years since I embarked on my professional journey following my graduation with a Master’s degree. Reflecting on this period, I realize how much has changed, particularly during the tumultuous year of 2020 when COVID-19 emerged unexpectedly and reshaped our lives in unprecedented ways. Initially, the pandemic posed significant challenges, but I chose to view it as an opportunity for growth and creativity. With the world in lockdown, I turned my attention to writing and research, channeling my energy into crafting articles that could contribute to my field. This decision proved fruitful, as I successfully published several articles in reputable journals, including those by Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. Each publication not only bolstered my academic credentials but also allowed me to engage with the broader scientific community during a time when collaboration was more important than ever. In 2022, I took another significant step by establishing a beekeeping project. This initiative was not only a passion project but also a way to integrate practical experience with my research workload. The project aimed to promote sustainable practices and educate students about the importance of bees in our ecosystem. Balancing this endeavor with my ongoing research was challenging yet rewarding, as it provided a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. Now, as we move through 2024, I find myself facing a new set of challenges brought on by inflation. Unlike the previous experience with COVID-19, where I was able to pivot and find opportunities for growth, this economic climate feels different and more constraining. The rising costs of living and materials have made it increasingly difficult. I am reaching out for advice on how to navigate this challenging situation. How can I adapt to these economic pressures and perhaps even turn this challenge into an opportunity for innovation or growth? Any insights or strategies from those who have faced similar circumstances would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support during this difficult time!

I would like to say thank you to everyone at SANY AMERICA who has played a vital role in building and sustaining our Attachment Project at the ECDC. Being chosen to work on this project by a colleague has truly shown me what a mentor really is. When he talked, I listened and paid close attention and vice versa. He knows engineering and systems and I know how to manage people and implement processes. Our talent isn’t what made this project so successful, it was our respect and trust amongst one another for what we knew individually that made this project flourish. One thing, there was a slight language barrier and a few cultural differences. We identified this early on to be the key building block to our future success. Not understanding each other and knowing it made the job fun. We talked about family, music, travel, work, but the best life lesson was being introduced to the stoic philosophy. Stoic is a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining. If you want to be happy, have zero expectations. Don’t try to change others. Change how u deal with them. Most importantly if it makes sense, DO IT!!

Seven Tenets I got from this book by Mark Peterson Tenet One: If a competitor ignores the value of a small market just because the market itself is small, i could create a niche monopoly. Tenet Two: Guerrillapreneurs value hard assets and cash. Tenet Three: In a “Round World,” information could be arbitraged, especially if you can time travel. Tenet Four: Barriers to entry, even if they are small, gives one the opportunity to create a niche market. Tenet Five: Control Your Pricing and Control Your Destiny. Tenet Six: You are the face of your brand. Sell your face to the customer. Tenet Seven: In a “Round World” where resources are limited, focus on winning the little wars.
