In March, BetterCloud acquired the Track product from G2. Not only was this acquisition fueled by a deep sense of partnership amongst our two companies, but I'm proud of how all the Track employees have integrated into BetterCloud, continuing to power an impactful product, supporting BetterCloud's growth and the value of spend management in the world of automation in SaaS. One thing I wasn't expecting through this event was awesome insights and learnings from Priti Patel as we discussed our respective DEI strategies. From this, at BetterCloud we implemented measuring iNPS (inclusion net promoter score) as a health metric of how inclusive and comfortable employees felt at work. The hope in this implementation, was to be able to take data to action, making an impact for employees faster and as a direct result of their feedback. I'm proud of the progress to date in how we've taken this metric to heart in how we identify specific actions to address across the company. It's made the work we do as a people team, real, measurable and impactful --is there anything better than that at work? Priti wrote about the use of iNPS in her recent blog post and Forbes article, and I'm honored to be alongside her implementing this new metric (links in comments). The Takeaway: --If you're going to acquire a company/product line, the people you partner with make the experience and integration that much better. --Be open to learning something new in any experience, you'll advance your thinking and make your company better along the way. --Oh, and, data + action over talk for DEI strategies, always.
Congratulations on the successful acquisition and the positive integration of the Track team into BetterCloud. Your approach to implementing iNPS as an actionable metric to enhance DEI initiatives is commendable. It certainly highlights the importance of listening to employee feedback to drive meaningful change. Engaging with diverse perspectives during such transitions not only enriches the company's culture but also strengthens overall performance. It would be fascinating to hear more about the specific actions you’ve taken based on employee insights. Thank you for sharing your journey and valuable lessons learned.
Congratulations on the successful integration and the great insights from your collaboration with Priti Patel! It's inspiring to see how you're prioritizing inclusion through measurable actions. How have the employees responded to the implementation of iNPS so far?
So grateful for our collaboration Alyxa Lease and that you’ve adopted G2’s iNPS metric to further your great DEI work 👏
love this!!!!
