American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)’s Post

American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) reposted this

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re excited to spotlight the amazing leaders of the AIPLA Women in IP Law Committee who are making waves in the intellectual property (IP) world. We asked these incredible women two questions, and here’s what Bree Vculek, Associate at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, had to say: 1️⃣ How did you become interested in IP? "My interest in patent law was sparked during an internship I had in graduate school. At the conclusion of the internship, I was invited to participate in meetings where key decisions were being made about the future of an invention. As I walked back to the lab afterward, I distinctly remember thinking, 'I want to be part of more discussions like this.' That moment ignited my passion for patent law and set me on the path to pursuing it further." 2️⃣ Why are you part of the AIPLA Women in IP Law Committee? "The support and encouragement I've received from other women in this community is unmatched. It's a rare and truly special experience that I will always be deeply grateful for." Their answers showcase the passion and commitment they bring to both their careers and our committee, and we’re proud to share their stories. 🔸 Follow our new LinkedIn page to stay connected with everything happening within our community. Interested in getting involved? Join the AIPLA Women in IP Law Committee. Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate the incredible women making an impact in IP throughout the month! #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInIP #AIPLA #IPLeadership
