The open-access paper “System change in practice: A report from the EHC Think Tank workstreams on Access Equity and Future Care Pathways” is published in The Journal of Haemophilia Practice by Haemnet! This final report from the EHC Think Tank’s workstreams on Access Equity and Future Care Pathways summarises recommendations for system change and the actions needed to achieve critical goals. Participants in the Access Equity workstream emphasised the need for evidence-based narratives and fostering trust through active listening to drive policy change and advance access equity in the healthcare system. The Future Care Pathways workstream focused on digitalisation, patient preferences, and financial incentives to create seamless, personalised care, recommending a coordination mindset, patient ownership of digital records, and flexible care pathways.
