Now ONGC will sell this to Ambani or Adani this is happening from many years.They day that we didn't get any oil but after some years some private company buyers drill in the same spot location and hit oil or Gas in a huge Amount 😉 This is how things are happening in India.

Well if this exploration is successful it will literally be a huge relief for India energy security and Oil & Gas industry and strengthen India geo politically as well, thus reducing huge burden on national exchequer spend on oil imports.

Politicians would be the happiest as they will get another source to loot the country. Hope good sense prevails them.
Good news but I doubt whether ONGC can really tap the potential to explore. This asset should be handed over RIL & BP who will make things happen . ONGC has not performed in exploration since inception.
