Unless you take daily snapshots, it's impossible to compare pipeline numbers from different time periods. It's much easier, and much better, to report on "Opportunity Value Created", instead of pipeline. Opp Value Created is a metric that can be compared against different time periods without having to take snapshots. It's also a less volatile metric... as pipeline constantly changes as deals close win and close lose. Focus more on Opp Value Created and less on pipeline.
