The power of generative AI is no longer a distant promise. Recent findings from Google Cloud's survey reveal that 74% of companies using generative AI for at least one application saw a return on investment within a year. However, an Upwork survey also highlighted a disconnect between executive expectations and employee experiences when it comes to AI. While 81% of C-suite executives expect more from employees with AI tools, many workers feel unprepared or untrained to leverage these technologies. This disconnect reflects that for the successful integration of AI, we must also empower people to use AI.
