How can you be part of or lead an effective turnaround? It’s tough as hell but if you do it right it can be one of the most rewarding experiences ever… Our team in the Enterprise segment, Private Equity and LATAM has been leading in performance for the last 2 quarters. We came together in early q4 last year and it’s been one hell of a ride. What’s worked so far: 1. We have renewed focus on our customers like never before. The deepening of engagements and relationships takes time but when clients see genuine engagement through our account leaders coupled with strong technical talent and thought leadership on our side you will usually see great results. 2. Live by our motto “make it happen” - we have the right strategy, right capabilities and the best talent. What else is left to do, but to make it happen :) .. keep executing. 3. Think big, win big. If you don’t think big, take risks or explore different ways of winning in this hyper competitive market you’ll be left behind. 4. Winning culture: probably the most important. 💡 With all the talk about #AI and new tech, it's easy to forget that most of the job of a #CIO is about creating balance. ⚖︎ Balance between innovation and efficiency. ⚖︎ Balance between cost management and agility. ⚖︎ Balance between operations and transformation. I love this article about Nutanix's CIO and how he's approaching things for two reasons. One, it lays out this balancing act perfectly. Second, I also love that it's reassuring that even the CIO of a tech company faces these same challenges. Definitely worth the read.
