This week, I had the opportunity to attend the Healthcare Internet Conference in Austin! The event brought together healthcare marketing thought leaders from around the country. This was PDi's first time attending this conference, and I had the best time networking with HCIC veterans and learning more about the healthcare marketing world. We will definitely be back next year! Here are a few takeaways- 🤖 AI & Automation in Healthcare Marketing: AI is impacting all industries, and healthcare is no different. From content creation to patient outreach, AI's role in marketing and engagement is expanding rapidly. This is not something to fear, but something to get excited about! I wouldn’t be surprised if Direct Mail has an even bigger year in 2025 in terms of its effectiveness and impact for marketing campaigns. In my opinion, sending a personal letter or advertisement in the mail is an extremely reliable tool to reach a prospect. Personally, I totally resonate with the tactile approach meaning marketing you can physically feel. That’s one of the reasons I’m a huge board gamer and prefer board gaming over video games. There’s nothing like physically rolling the dice and coming up big. Prospects are bound to have a more positive & curious response opening up physical letter vs. getting a random unprompted cold call. In a world where email, LinkedIn, and cold-calling outreach has gotten harder in recent years, the way the United States Postal Service functions has remained pretty consistent. This truth about Direct Mail could be an incredibly valuable asset to marketers as we begin to finalize our growth goals & attack plans for next year.
