With the Cyber Safety Review Board (CSRB, CISA) recently in the news, I reviewed their investigative reporting on Log4J again. Like a good NTSB investigative reporting, the CSRB investigation had wide access (public, private, open source, domestic and international). Great effort to establish Factual Information; Findings and Conclusions; and Recommendations. https://lnkd.in/d4hzAYSq Highly recommended reading in business, especially by the Board and Officer level, that have fiduciary responsibility and operating in the modern technology ecosystem. The report should be included as mandatory reading, part of onboarding package of a new Board or Officer. If they would read the Board Message and the Executive Summary written for technical and non-technical audience. Once they start reading, I don't think they could stop reading the rest. That's how good it is.
