How do you find and engage with your target beneficiaries and stakeholders?
The theory of change tool or logical framework ('log frame') can be especially valuable for impact enterprises. Working backwards from the desired impact is a helpful exercise: how will the impact be measured in breadth (e.g., number of people) and depth (how much are their lives impacted)? How attributable is the impact to the outcomes of the enterprise? What outputs lead to those outcomes? This exercise can help focus limited resources on activities that provide a line of sight to measurable impact.

Human Rights
The Racial Equity Playbook is designed to help business executives build diverse and inclusive organizations. The playbook asks executives to commit to racial equity via our racial equity pledge (https://www.change.org/p/pledge-for-racial-justice) and then provides three action-oriented guides to help executives implement change in their organizations. The Playbook was compiled by a volunteer group from the Stanford GSB Class of 1994. Learn more at racialequityplaybook.org.
