It’s a way to organically connect and develop yourself and others. Getting into clinical research can be a task. It's a balance of timing and opportunity. We have to be ready to be uncomfortable to get some experience . I took a $20,000 pay cut to get into this industry. I know everyone isn't able... You have to be real about what you are willing to sacrifice to meet your end goal. After taking that pay cut, I doubled my salary in 10 months by networking, gaining experience and allowing God to lead my path. I am also blessed to be an active member of Black Women In Clinical Research ®. Your network really is your net worth. Think about that investment. I live by Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean NOT to thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path. When you embark on this journey; KNOW YOUR "WHY"!
