Finally wrapped up my portfolio after different iterations, redesigns, and perfecting those little details. It's been quite the journey, and I'm excited to share what I've built! 🚀 Went for a retro-modern developer aesthetic - mixing matrix-inspired particles with a clean, minimal interface. Had fun crafting those smooth transitions and micro-interactions, while keeping that nostalgic terminal vibe alive. Built this using Next.js 15 as the foundation, styled it up with Tailwind, brought it to life with Framer Motion animations, and tied it all together with TypeScript for that robust developer experience. ✨ Every component was carefully crafted - from the command-line inspired navigation to the project cards with their hover states. A Day in the Life of a Palestinian Software Engineer in the West Bank Working remotely is often seen as a privilege. But for me, it’s not really a choice. Living in the West Bank, under occupation, means that going to the office is often not an option. I would love for my office days to feel like a fresh start, with new plans and energy, like anyone else’s. But my reality is different. Every time I consider going to the office, which is only about 22 km from home, it's never a simple decision. The night before, I find myself constantly checking the news. What are the roads like? Are the checkpoints open? On many mornings, I’m fully dressed, ready to leave, but I’m forced to stay home because the situation has quickly changed. The IDF has invaded the city, Palestinians are being arrested, killed, and all the roads are shut down—the list goes on. Checkpoints turn into scenes of humiliation. You might ask why? As a witness, I can say it’s part of a daily effort to control and oppress us, making our lives as difficult as possible in every imaginable way. On the rare days when I make it to the office, I feel a strange sense of triumph. “Hey, people, I’m here again!” It’s a moment of relief to catch up with my colleagues, share some laughs, and dive into work. I love coding; it’s one of the few things that truly absorbs me and allows me to escape, even for a little while, from the chaos outside. Even when I'm stuck on a tricky bug and find myself talking to myself for days, I still embrace the challenge because it pulls me away from the endless mess we live in here. By afternoon, after lunch, I’m back to work for a few hours before the clock reminds me that I need to leave. I have to make it home before it’s too late. If I stay too long, the risks multiply - checkpoints could close, transportation to Bethlehem might disappear, and the roads could become dangerous, as they so often do. So, I leave early, pack up my things, and finish up my workday remotely, catching up with my international team in late meetings due to time zone differences. On the way home, I try to focus on the sky. It’s the one thing that feels untouched by the war machine - the checkpoints, the soldiers, the barriers that block every corner of our lives. I love taking pictures of the sky, just to hold onto something beautiful. But even that simple act can be risky. Once, while I was taking a picture, the driver warned me, “Put your phone down before the soldiers see. We don’t want any trouble..” Despite everything, I am deeply grateful. I can breathe safely while our beloved people in Gaza are denied that chance. I appreciate the opportunity to work remotely, even under these oppressive circumstances, especially when many around us struggle to find jobs. Every blessing, no matter how small, helps us survive daily. Hope all these countless pains come to an end soon, and we witness a free Palestine. 🇵🇸 #software #palestine #westbank

Hey everyone, I’m dealing with a frustrating problem with my Payoneer account, and I could really use some advice. Out of nowhere, my account got blocked—no warning, no clear reason—and I’ve got three months’ worth of earnings sitting there that I can’t access. Here’s what’s making it worse: No Live Support: Payoneer doesn’t have a live chat or any real way to get in touch quickly. Email Support is Useless: The replies I’m getting seem automated and aren’t helping me figure out how to fix this. Password Reset Issues: I tried resetting my password, but all I get is a message saying, “Your account access appears to be restricted.” I get that platforms like this need to prioritize security, but it’s really frustrating to feel stuck with no proper support. If anyone here has faced something similar: How did you get it sorted? Any tips for recovering the account or reaching someone at Payoneer who can actually help? Is there another way to escalate the issue and get a human response? This is a big deal for me, and I’m sure a lot of freelancers and businesses rely on Payoneer just like I do. I've been spending a lot of time exploring AI tools and trying out different automation and RAG chatbots. But I've realized that jumping from one thing to another isn't a good or sustainable approach. If I can't see the results, I'll probably lose interest eventually. That's why I've started focusing on my agency's website to create a home for all these projects. Recently, I added an "Automation" module to showcase the automation I've worked on. Now, I've also added a "Blog" module. I'm planning to create landing pages for AI solutions in different categories. For example, under "Voice Agents," there will be a page for a "Dental Appointment Setter," with related blog posts. For managing all this dynamic content like "Automation," "Blog," and "Landing Pages," I'm using PayloadCMS. It's a tool I know well and find very flexible. I'll keep sharing updates as I go along!
