You're starting a new digital marketing campaign. How can you ensure it's a success?
Different business models call for different KPIs. For example in a sales-led organization, leads would be an essential metric to track. Have your internal sales team determine a lead scoring system to determine the quality of leads. Attributing a quality score based on conversions (maybe 1-5 ranking) per channel (paid, SEO, social, etc) would then help you adjust budget accordingly and show you where to turn the dial up. If you’re a product-led organization where the end user can sign up or purchase on their own, then last-click attribution is essential here. Which channels are the highest conversions coming from? How can you utilize cookies/data to re-engage those that don’t convert? Product-led orgs will want to track click through rates
