With a high disease burden of Tuberculosis in India, it would be interesting to see the developments in this space. Especially whether clinical design outlays plans of having sites in India in collaboration with National Institute of Tuberculosis and respiratory diseases & the cost of diagnosis if approved. #Tuberculosis #Healthcare #Medicaldiagnostic

🚀 Delighted to brag that I have successfully completed the Wharton certificate: 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒙 𝑰𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕! 🎓 A strategy that never leaves the drawing board is worthless. A strategy that fails to make an impact is meaningless. It takes vision, skills, and strong partnerships to overcome these challenges. The more you learn, practice with experienced coaches, and collaborate with industry experts, the more prepared and confident you become in building and executing strategies that truly make a difference. Throughout this journey, that is a part of my ongoing Wharton Executive Education Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Program, I have gained invaluable insights: 🔍 Methods for driving strategic initiatives, balancing exploration and exploitation within organizations, and developing partnerships to commercialize technological products. 🌐 How organizational ecosystems and open innovation for strategic initiatives can drive successful development in organizations. 💡 How large organizational initiatives can have an impact on areas outside the organization itself. A big thank you to the esteemed faculty and my fellow cohort members for their invaluable contributions and discussions. Looking forward to applying these insights to create impactful initiatives and drive sustained growth in the industry. #DeliverDeliverDeliver #DontKeepOnPaper #Wharton #StrategicInnovation #Leadership #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalGrowth Wharton Executive Education | CTO Program Wharton Executive Education

🎉I've earned yet another certificate "𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚-𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏", part of the prestigious Wharton Executive Education | CTO Program 🚀 Tech-driven organizations—those for which technology is a fundamental part of their operation—are known for their ability to move quickly and innovate. Unlike other sectors, those who lead tech-driven organizations also face unique challenges, from the characteristics of their workforce and culture to the uncertainty created by the technology itself, which they don’t typically own or have the ability to contain internally. As such, effectively leading a tech-driven organization requires an external focus in terms of how employees and teams operate. Thank you, Wharton faculty, industry experts, and my cohort classmates for your tutoring, guidance, and collaboration throughout this journey. #Wharton #TechnologyAcceleration #Leadership #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalGrowth Wharton Executive Education | CTO Program Wharton Executive Education

Patient access for a "buy and bill" drug in the US typically involves several steps and stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, pharmacies, and patients themselves. Here are the steps on how patient access works: 1. Prescription by Healthcare Provider 2. Insurance Coverage Verification 3. Dispensing at Pharmacy 4. Prior Authorization (if required) 5. Reimbursement and Payment 6. Patient Pickup or Delivery 7. Patient Adherence and Monitoring 8. Continued Coverage and Reauthorization Overall, patient access to buy and bill drugs in the US involves coordination among multiple stakeholders to ensure timely access to necessary medications while navigating insurance coverage, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements. #PatientAccess #MarketAccess

As I explained in my last post, Machine Learning models are "trained" on historical data. However, the "extent" to which these models have to be trained is not an exact science. Let me explain 2 issues that have to be taken care off, with a healthcare related analogy, for folks with a life-science background to understand - 1. Underfitting: The One-Size-Fits-None Scrubs Imagine a hospital where all the doctors and nurses have to wear the same set of scrubs, regardless of their body size or shape. Now, these scrubs are so loose that they fall off easily and offer little to no protection. This situation is like underfitting in machine learning. Just like those scrubs don't fit anyone properly, an underfit model doesn't capture the complexities of the data, resulting in poor performance. 2. Overfitting: The Super Specialized Stethoscope Picture a doctor who insists on using an incredibly specialized stethoscope for every patient, claiming it can diagnose any ailment. This stethoscope has so many attachments and features that it can pick up even the tiniest of anomalies. However, because it's so specialized, it often detects "issues" that aren't really there, leading to unnecessary treatments. This scenario mirrors overfitting in machine learning, where a model becomes overly complex and fits too closely to the training data, capturing noise as if it were signal. If there is a machine learning product that you use, and you notice errors from the product that is either missing findings that it is supposed to identify, or mistakenly picks up an artifact as a finding, it may be due to underfitting or overfitting. #machinelearning #aiforhealth #healthtech

Just had a great session with Nitesh Soni Ph.D. from Sanofi on how AI is scaling within the pharmaceutical industry: • One of the big challenges is moving from small-scale pilots to full-scale AI adoption across an entire organization. • The importance of ethics in AI really stood out—especially in healthcare, where responsibility is key. • We at Synergo Group always focus on ensuring our AI solutions are not only scalable but also ethically sound. This session reinforced my belief that AI growth must be responsible if it’s going to deliver lasting value. #reworkAI

Setting us free from legacy systems is challenging but imperative in our industry as well! "Respondents called out challenges with legacy systems as the second-greatest concern (after budget constraints). Core tech modernization is key to delivering on the digital promise,1 but health systems have typically relied on a smaller set of monolithic systems that have become a challenge to untangle." https://lnkd.in/gyYc5WjW
