You likely wont surprised when I share this career update… Its not a new role or a new team, but a new focus. Going forward, I am focusing on supporting Colorado school districts as a Solutions Engineer. I say you wont be surprised because, looking back at my previous posts - they are all on K12 use cases! My leadership saw this passion and has given me the opportunity to align my strengths and have the chance to grow in my expertise.   This is not to say I didn’t enjoy working with local governments and higher education customers, but my true passion lies with working with students and getting them excited about tech (more specifically IT!). Working with school districts allows me to fulfill that passion while supporting those same students in their education through technology every day.   My goal is to become an expert on K12 use cases, challenges, and requirements. Maybe even present at Cisco Live on some of these topics 😊 So, going forward…nothing will really change here, but I hope to learn from you all what projects you are working on with your teams, what keeps you up at night, and where you see future needs aligning.   Some common trends I'm seeing my K12 customers beginning to tackle are security (physical and cyber), how to best leverage AI and other technologies in the classroom, and providing a modern and reliable network that simply allows students to learn and teachers to teach.   Let me know if these are some of the same challenges your teams or customers are facing, and ill get started drafting my next posts on these topics.

Gaichu Managed Services recently helped a client in the US with a simple "switches mounting" job. We installed 2 Cisco switches and a stacking cable. Our engineer worked with a remote engineer to set up everything, turned the switch on, and validated the ports.
