I know I have a number of institutional investors in my network that have asked about utility scale investment opportunities so I wanted to get some reach on this opportunity. There are Billions of Dollars allocated for the rebuild of the Puerto Rican electric grid, and the pieces to do so effectively are being brought together. Now is the time to bring in the right capital partners to get it done.

On June 28, 2024, the National Petroleum Company (Enap) showcased significant progress in its green hydrogen projects to President Gabriel Boric during his visit to the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic regions. Enap is advancing initiatives in Laredo, Gregorio, and Cabo Negro, aiming to build enabling infrastructure for the green hydrogen industry. The company’s executives highlighted their strategic plan to capitalize on Enap's logistical advantages and transform existing assets while constructing new infrastructure in partnership with third parties. Notable developments include the reconfiguration of the Laredo dock, a new industrial complex in Gregorio, and a green hydrogen plant in Cabo Negro, with investments ranging from $60 million to $900 million. Enap’s president, Gloria Maldonado, emphasized the crucial public-private collaboration in driving Chile's energy transition, while CEO Julio Friedmann highlighted the region's role in the global energy shift, leveraging its unique natural resources and Enap’s competitive strengths.

I am thrilled to announce the publication of our most recent article in the Journal of Energy Storage: "Robust economic–environmental dispatch problem for BESS and PV generators in MT-HVDC systems: A MI-MPC approach." In this work, we propose a strategy using convex optimization for the dispatch of Energy Storage Systems and renewable generation systems in Multi-Terminal HVDC (MT-HVDC) systems considering uncertainties and multi-objective programming. #RenewableEnergy #EnergyStorage #Sustainability #Research
