📦 Food Delivery Experience: Mixed Feelings 🤔 I recently ordered some delicious South Indian cuisine from @lash foods (Authentic south Indian- Spring meadows) via Zomato The delivery was prompt, and Mohd. Samir, the delivery executive, was courteous. However, upon receiving the order, I noticed something concerning. One container was sealed with the Zomato safety tape, while the other container was open with no packing or safety seal. This inconsistency raises a question in my mind: should I feel safe eating the contents of the unsealed container? As a customer, I understand that such things can happen, but when it comes to food safety, it’s essential for us to feel confident about what we’re consuming. I hope Zomato addresses this concern to ensure a consistent and safe experience for all its users. #FoodSafety #CustomerExperience #Zomato

This one is an interesting course on how to customize the Chatbot that uses your enterprise specific data and responds to the users in a way that is consistent with your company's style of communication. I found this approach to be expensive for enterprise scale (we are Indians, we want the best of features and least of pricing), the course in itself is very informative.

I am honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from senior director Amol Farkade, director Avinash Gatty, and my manager Rajeev Karnatak for my role in a significant project at GEP. We've successfully redesigned and launched the Spend Self-Serve application on GEP’s low code platform, Quantum. Key highlights of this project: 1. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Rebuilt from scratch on Quantum, enhancing flexibility and speed. 2. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: Successfully migrated 100+ customers to the new system, ensuring continuity and improved service. 3. 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐥: Redesigned both the user interface and backend architecture, integrating MongoDB to enhance performance and scalability. 4. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Expanded the application's capabilities to serve as a generic data processing tool, capable of handling various forms of Big Data. 5. 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Engineered the new version in under a year, a significant enhancement over the previous version which took two years. This achievement underscores our commitment to efficiency and innovation, leveraging GEP's Quantum platform to expedite the development process without compromising quality. 🚀 Completed the Featurization, Model Selection, and Tuning (FMT) Project! 🧠 In the FMT project, I tackled the complexities of a semiconductor manufacturing process by applying advanced machine learning techniques. This journey involved: 🔍 Data Cleansing & Feature Engineering: Removed noise and irrelevant features, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient dataset for model training. 📊 Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conducted in-depth analysis to uncover patterns and relationships, laying the groundwork for effective model building. 🤖 Model Training & Optimization: Experimented with multiple supervised learning models, fine-tuned them with cross-validation, and enhanced performance through dimensionality reduction and target balancing. 🎯 Model Selection & Deployment: Evaluated various models, selected the best-performing one, and prepared it for deployment. I couldn’t agree more Sripathi and Preeti , it felt like stepping into an entirely new arena when we joined this hackathon, but we pulled through and clinched 1st place. Developing this UIUX design for Multimodal Health Assistant was an intense and rewarding/steep learning journey. Global maximum or local maxima? It's common and easy to slip into the mode of looking into what's best for one's team scope only. While orgs all make efforts to make global impact, set those as OKRs, plan across teams, orgs and products, and certainly achieve those goals – there's always an idea that doesn't get enough attention and just slips through. Thinking how we could give those ideas proper attention, and encourage more sense of innovation and ownership from our engineers, Parloa's tech org branded our "hacking event" as "Global Max Days" focusing on observability as a theme this time. For me, it was super fun to be on the side, observe, and then see the results, presentations and the winner (small glimpse of that in the picture). What was even better is that quite a few of the solutions will be seeing their production life in the near future. Stephen Price covers these points which I fully agree with so well. I spent years as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) at Hertz ... I'm able to look back at processes, decisions, predictions, evaluations, usability, testing, troubleshooting, and a huge number of other things including international business rules, laws, restrictions and cultures based on where the customer lives, where they're travelling to, and other factors to do with type, demographics, compliance, etc. In many cases I was the go-to person for a lot of this stuff, and I'd be interested to see how that level of experience can be prompt engineered! So can AI help with some of these? Certainly! All of them? I have my doubts. And those doubts stop me from hailing AI as this magical mystical "black box" which can and will do just about everything. It can't, but it sure is awesome at a lot of things, and it's getting better all the time. Well said, Stephen. I couldn't have said it better (or anywhere near as well) myself!

Came to realization that we should start using UI as a TEACHING instrument first and foremost, as customers are not the domain experts - companies/projects are! What can the UI teach / convey? - Methodologies - Best known methods - Vocabulary - Process and systems integration and improvement models to name a few…
